About us

EMS Telemark was established in the autumn of 2018 by initiator June Smith Hatlø. Our first championship took place in Langesund on September 21, 2019, with the sea as its theme. It was the warmest September day ever, and the event was a great success. The next championship was planned with the theme “Winter Wonderland”, first in 2021, but was unfortunately postponed. Since then, EMS Telemark has continued to build the professional community through exercises, professional evenings, and regional activity. In addition to organizing championships, our focus in EMS Telemark has been professional development and training. We have organized professional evenings with exciting speakers and interdisciplinary exercises. Our vision is that EMS Telemark should not only be about one championship every other year, but also professional development and fun throughout the year.
