A digital platform for training exercises, simulation and learning

Plan, run and learn from every exercise

ResQInsight brings planning, coordination, digital assessment and reporting together in one solution for training exercises, simulation, emergency preparedness exercises and competitions. What is recorded along the way becomes learning data and reports, so the experience can be used after the exercise is over.

What is ResQInsight?

More than a digital assessment form

Large exercises, training days and competitions are often run on spreadsheets, paper forms and radio logs. They can be hard to coordinate, assessment and reporting take time, and much of the learning can be lost when the day is over.

ResQInsight is built to bring planning, execution, assessment and reporting together in one digital flow. The organiser and exercise control get an overview, participants and teams receive missions and messages, and instructors, judges or observers can assess each run directly on their phone. Afterwards the findings can be used in feedback, debriefs, reports and further professional development.

Plan → Run → Assess → Analyse → Learn → Improve

Forms and criteria can be adapted to your own procedures and local exercise goals.

The goal is not just results, but better learning, safer execution and better collaboration.

Learning data – report packages

Example report packages

After EMSNOR26, each team received its own report package showing how they performed across the different scenarios, assessed against predefined criteria and supplemented with qualitative feedback from the judges. The same type of reporting can also be used for individual participants.

In addition, the data were compiled into an anonymised and aggregated learning report showing patterns, variation, strengths and potential areas for improvement across the entire participant field. The purpose is not to rank individuals, teams or services, but to provide a stronger basis for debriefing, professional development and targeted further training.

The figures represent training and learning data, not research or formal competency assessment.

Who is it for?

Built for every role in an exercise

ResQInsight gives each role what it needs, and nothing more. Participants see their mission, the assessor sees the form, and the organiser sees the whole picture.

  • Organisers of exercises, training days, competitions and simulation
  • Instructors, judges and observers assessing performance
  • Staff and exercise control coordinating participants, posts and scenarios
  • Participants and teams who need concrete feedback
  • Clinical developers, managers and educators who want to use learning data in further training
  • Emergency preparedness actors in health, rescue organisations, defence, police and joint operations

Frequently asked questions

Contact us using the form below, and we will set up a demo and look at how ResQInsight can fit your exercise, training day, simulation or competition.

ResQInsight is under development and is currently used by agreement. External use is considered as a demo, pilot or agreed delivery, depending on scope and the need for training, support and reporting.

Just a phone with a web browser. ResQInsight can also be installed as an app on the home screen. Sign-in uses a QR card and PIN, so nobody needs to create their own account.

Yes. The forms are flexible: criteria can award points, deductions or free text, and are grouped into weighted groups. You decide what is assessed and how much it counts, and the forms can be adapted to your own procedures and local exercise goals.

ResQInsight is available in Norwegian and English, and each user can choose their language. This also makes it well suited to events with international teams.

Yes. ResQInsight can compile assessments and results into reports for participants, teams or the organiser. The reports can be used for debriefs, professional development and further training. If needed, combined reports can be anonymised and used as a learning basis across the whole exercise.

Results are compiled into feedback for the participants and an anonymised overall report, so the learning can be carried forward into clinical development and training. Access is role-based, so each user only sees what their role needs.
